This is an example of how I prepare my plotter-based watercolor paintings. The painting size is 15x10 ( paper size 16x12, 1-inch border on each side). I use a 5-color palette, which sits on the right-hand end of the plotter. The location I reserved for the paints takes up 2 inches.
